The MRC du Haut-Saint-Laurent, in partnership with the agency Les Topographes, is launching a call to citizens to take part in a LARGE LANDSCAPE DOCUMENTATION CAMPAIGN of the MRC's landscapes, in order to better understand the relationship between the region's inhabitants and their territory.
Twice in 2025, you will be invited to take part in an online survey to better understand the reasons why you are attached to certain landscapes and less so to others.
This call for citizen participation is part of a larger project: the production of an Atlas documenting the unique features and characteristics of the MRC's landscapes. This document will later be used as a reference for land-use planning and preservation.
There can never be too many pairs of eyes to understand the full range of iconic or ordinary landscapes of the area. You know your region and its treasures best; your involvement is key to the success of the project!
The date for the second part of the survey is yet to be determined. All information about the process will be available on a dedicated page on the MRC website. Stay tuned!
