Transport 11 December 2020
In an effort to guarantee a reliable and quality public transit service that will better meet the transport needs of local residents, the MRC du Haut-Saint-Laurent is proud to announce the launch of a new regularly scheduled and free public transport service for those travelling to or from the Haut-Saint-Laurent.
The new service will include two bus routes. The yellow line will transport passengers to Mercier, with stops in Huntingdon, Godmanchester, Ormstown, Howick, Très-Saint-Sacrement and Sainte-Martine. The blue line will transport passengers to Salaberry-de-Valleyfield with stops in Ormstown, Huntingdon, Godmanchester, and Sainte-Barbe. The buses will run on a fixed schedule. The bus service will be free of charge and without reservation. It will be possible to follow the buses in real time with the Zenbus application. The service will be available from Monday to Friday, starting on January 4, 2021.
We would like to remind public transit users who make use of the EXO transportation service to adjust their ticket purchases accordingly, as the new transport service offered by the MRC du Haut-Saint-Laurent will allow passenger to access free transport to Mercier on weekdays.
