Whether you are a resident of our MRC, or from elsewhere in Quebec, Canada or abroad, you will learn more about our area and the 13 rural municipalities that compose it.

On behalf of our Municipal Mayors, I invite you to use this site to explore our corner of the country, a valley rich in nature and culture, and to get acquainted with its residents and their pride in their heritage and achievements. We hope you will visit us often, as this web site was developed as a means of introducing visitors to the natural assets of our region and of promoting the vitality of our communities to our neighbours, near and far.

Enjoy your visit and come back soon.

Alain Castagner, prefect
MRC du Haut-Saint-Laurent
